Job Overview

The Geriatric Skin Integrity Specialist is responsible for overseeing the treatment of residents with wounds and skin integrity issues. This role requires a nursing license and experience in a clinical geriatric setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and consult for all residents with skin integrity issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop a plan of treatment.
  • Administer wound care treatments, documenting progress, and establishing care protocols.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in a clinical/nursing area of study required.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • 1 years of experience in a clinical/nursing setting within the geriatric industry.
