Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing data models, dashboards, and AI-powered tools while leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform to enhance workflows and deliver actionable insights. This role also involves applying UI/UX principles, ensuring seamless integration of emerging technologies like AI and predictive analytics, and maintaining strong data governance practices. Experience with Copilot Studio and Power BI is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage SharePoint sites, site collections, and subsites, customizing with features, web parts, workflows, and tools to meet business needs.
• Design, develop, and optimize data models, dashboards, reports, and other Power BI artifacts, including embedding Power BI content into SharePoint Online.
• Design, develop, and optimize Copilot Agents in Copilot Studio.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and develop innovative analytical solutions.
• Leverage the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) to streamline workflows and enhance data insights.
• Stay current on emerging trends in AI integration, applying predictive analytics and automation to improve data processes.
• Apply UI/UX principles to ensure user-friendly dashboards, reports, and workflows.
• Document processes, best practices, and technical guidelines for Power BI, SQL, and system administration tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other closely related field (or a combination of education and experience may be considered to satisfy the degree requirements).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL programming, query optimization, stored procedures, and database architecture.
• Advanced proficiency of Power BI architecture, components, and security features, including integration with SharePoint Online.
• Advanced proficiency of Copilot Studio, components, and security features, including integration with SharePoint Online.
• Familiarity with AI integration for data analytics and workflow automation is a plus.
• Expertise in UI/UX principles for enhancing user interaction with analytical tools preferred.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus.
