COMMUNITY JUSTICE SUPPORT CENTER
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Treatment Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of the Franklin County Community Justice Support Center (FCCJSC) as well as implementing programs performed within the Center in accordance with statutes and existing policies and procedures in compliance with the Office of Community Corrections Scope of Services. The Treatment Manager will manage a team who are charged with providing direct treatment for clients. The Treatment Manager is directly responsible for managing ongoing program implementation, including: referrals, intakes, treatment plans, treatment interventions, drug screens, correspondence with supervising agencies, motivational incentives, fidelity to treatment protocols, contingency procedures, accountability measures and ongoing training to enhance staff motivation and capability. The Treatment Manager is expected to collaborate with the Office of Community Corrections Management in the oversight and implementation of the FCCJSC.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the general supervision of a Franklin County Sheriff’s Office designated staff member.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: CJSC Staff to include the following: Counselors, Adult Education Specialist, Career Specialist, Administrative Assistant, and Monitors
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the daily operations of the FCCJSC in collaboration with OCC Management. Provide direct supervision for assigned FCCJSC staff. Oversee the administration of intakes and assessments and ensure timely management of related data. Responsible for implementing and ensuring the ongoing fidelity of evidence based cognitive behavior therapy groups and practices. Demonstrate an understanding of criminogenic risk/need and how to clinically respond to effect meaningful behavioral change. Demonstrate a clear understanding of trauma informed care. Oversee the treatment team’s accurate and timely case notes, intake and other data reporting. Perform clinical interventions with clients who receive accountability reports or infractions or as needed. Facilitates ongoing team meetings. Maintains regular written documentation of programming in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures. Coordinates activities of the FCCJSC with various courts, collaborating criminal justice agencies and private community agencies to enhance service delivery to participants. Provides required reports to the Regional/Program Manager. Communicates with the Regional/Program Manager on an ongoing basis. Works within the approved contract budget and is responsible to document all expenditures. Performs other duties assigned by the Regional/Program Manager in accordance with the standards of OCC. Attend required training sessions and maintain certifications. Collaborates with other onsite service providers, such as probation officers, parole officers, FCSO staff, OCC staff, and community partners.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in a related clinical field (i.e. Education, Psychology, Social Work, etc.). Thorough knowledge and proven ability in assessments, counseling, and treatment planning. Possession of a Massachusetts license to provide clinical and or substance use services. Ability to work with community providers. Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and occasional weekends. Possession of a current and valid Massachusetts Class 3 Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. Regular and predictable work attendance. Ability to motivate others. Ability to establish and maintain rapport with persons from different ethnic, cultural and/or economic backgrounds. Ability to adapt to varying work situations. Ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to prepare reports, analyze and determine the applicability of data, draw conclusions and to make appropriate recommendations. Ability to maintain harmonious working relationships with others. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to act calmly, make decisions and act quickly in emergency and crisis situations. Ability to interact with people who are under physical and/or emotional stress.

SALARY RANGE: $82,295.46
GRADE: 18, step 8
FRINGE BENEFITS: Full fringe benefit entitlements in accordance with State and FCSO Personnel Policies covering this position.
