What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Project Manager position at Franklin Fitch?
We are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Project Manager to join a reputable client based in Atlanta. This role will be pivotal in driving forward IT transformation projects, working very closely with the PMO Director.
The Role:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation for significant initiatives, encompassing project charters, requirements, change logs, and more.
- Strategize and oversee projects, monitoring progress for all designated projects using Jira. This includes defining objectives, timelines, resource allocation, assignments, and risk evaluations.
- Encourage timely completion of tasks among project participants.
- Support team efforts by contributing as needed.
- Keep IT leadership, primary stakeholders, and task owners informed of project status.
- Alert IT leadership to potential risks affecting project timelines.
- Coordinate directly with vendor resources for project tasks as necessary.
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports.
- Aid in PMO establishment and ensure adherence to best practice protocols.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to manage technology projects
- Change Management experience
- Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies
- Experience using Atlassian Products
