Job Summary
The Summer School Principal's summer work hours are 7.5 hours daily from June 16, 2025, to July 18, 2025. Preparing for site programs will begin in March. Principals will meet weekly with the Summer School Coordinator and the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services to prepare for the summer program. Principals will communicate with families and oversee the safe everyday running of each school campus. The principal will oversee both the in-person components of the school program. The principal will also run an hour-long weekly staff meeting for summer school staff.
An Administrative Credential or Certificate of Completion from an Administrative Credential Program is required. Teachers currently enrolled in an Administrative Credential program are encouraged to apply.

encouraged to apply. The stipend for Summer School Principals of Elementary School Sites will be $12,000. The stipend for the Summer School Principal for Middle School Sites will be $8,000. The stipend for this position is to be paid in two installments- one in July and one in August.
