Key Responsibilities
As the Nurse Manager / Educator, you will :
o Leadership & Oversight :
Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to maintain exceptional care standards.
Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement effective care plans.
o Education & Training :
Develop and deliver staff training programs to promote professional growth and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Keep staff updated on best practices, policies, and procedures in long-term care and infection control.
o Clinical Support :
Assist with assessments, care planning, and resident care when needed.
Provide hands-on clinical guidance and troubleshooting for complex cases.
o Quality Improvement :
Monitor and evaluate nursing practices to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.
Lead initiatives to improve resident outcomes and staff satisfaction.
o Communication & Collaboration :
Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, residents, families, and leadership.
Promote a positive, team-oriented work culture.
Qualifications
o Current RN license in Minnesota, in good standing.
o Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience in long-term care or a related setting.
o Proven leadership and education / training experience.
o Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, infection control, and quality improvement processes.
o Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
