Customer Service Representative:
Purpose Summary: This position is primarily responsible for answering customer calls, processing online orders, and helping customers in our store.
Responsibility Summary: Following is an outline of this position’s major areas of responsibility:
- Answering incoming calls in a timely manner
- Enter local and outgoing floral and gift orders
- Tend to customer questions, concerns, and complaints in a professional and friendly manner
- Follow departmental and customer required procedures
- Communicate effectively with other departments such as design, production, purchasing & delivery
- Support other departments needs as the business volume allows.
- Strive for the continual improvement of your department and the company as a whole
- Be an advocate for Jones The Florist and our customers
- Any and all other duties required by other departments as the company sees fit depending on the needs of the business
- Must work open schedule during holidays especially during Valentine's day and Mother's day
- Department Organization
- Maintain a clean and tidy work space at all times
Additional Responsibilities
- In this position the employee may be called upon to do anything in other departments that helps to make Jones successful at the end of the day.
Reports To: Customer Service Manager
Software Skills: Proficient at the use of UPS World Ship. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Education/Experience: Minimum high school graduate. Some knowledge of basic computer programs and internet usage. Success in this position will depend upon your ability to multi task, give attention to detail and have excellent organization & communication skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 36 per week
