Senior Accountant
Location: Onsite – Santa Monica, CA
Reports to: Controller
Job Summary:
Frederick Fox is supporting our client recruit for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities in a small office setting. This role involves financial reporting, reconciliations, tax support, and compliance while working closely with the Controller and external CPAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounting for 5–10 entities.
- Prepare financial reports, tax documents, and reconciliations.
- Support CPA firms with tax returns, financial statements, and compliance filings.
- Maintain balance sheets, general ledger accounts, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure accounting accuracy, internal controls, and compliance with regulations.
- Work independently, resolving complex financial issues.
Requirements:
- 7 years of U.S. accounting experience in a small company.
- Stable job history with long-term commitments.
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, ability to multitask, and high work quality.
- Proactive problem-solver with minimal supervision needed.
Preferred:
- Experience in the farming / agriculture sector and investment analysis.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise.
