Freedom Granite & Stone is seeking to fill a position for Installer Helper.In this position you will play a vital role in the installation process of granite and stone countertops for both residential and commercial projects. You will work alongside senior installers to ensure precise and efficient installations while upholding our company's standards for craftsmanship and professionalism.
There are several opportunities for growth within the company! The ideal candidate will be willing to train in a variety of areas as needed.
Pay starting at $16/hr, based on experience.
Responsibilities:
o Assist the lead installer with the safe and accurate installation of granite and stone countertops.
o Carry and transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
o Support the measurement and layout process to ensure accuracy of cuts and installation.
o Help prepare job sites by following direct instructions from lead installer and setting up necessary tools and equipment
o Assist in the lifting, positioning, and securing of stone countertops.
Qualifications:
o Valid Driver’s License with ability to drive company vehicles if necessary.
o Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
o Proven experience as a Granite Installer Helper preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
o Basic knowledge of hand tools and other machinery commonly used in granite fabrication.
o Knowledge of general safety protocols, and ability to adhere to them at all times.
o Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and job tickets accurately, if necessary.
o Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods of time.
