STATEMENT OF POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES
FIELD REPAIR TECHNICIAN
JOB FUNCTION : Full-time
We are seeking a skilled Field Repair Technician to join our team at New Bern, North Carolina Branch. This position will be responsible for carrying the quality, standards, and reputation Freedom Roofing, Windows and Siding has built over the past twelve years. In this role, this position will report to the Installation Manager in the Operations Department. Working hours begin at 6 : 30am. This position will report to the office where you will prepare for your job assignments for the day and brief with your team.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- Knowledge of various window and door types, materials, and installation methods.
- Knowledge of various siding installation techniques and materials.
- Knowledge of various roofing systems, skylights, masonry, siding, gutters and other potential leak and problem sources that arise from roof installations.
- Ability to self-start and problem solve.
- Exemplary customer service skills.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, reading a tape measure, metal brake usage.
- Must have a strong attention to detail, perform work with quality and professionalism.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, lift heavy objects, climb ladders and comfortable working from heights and on multiple pitches of roofing.
