Freedom Solar Power is looking for an organized Assistant Regional Operations Manager. The Ops Assistant is responsible for preparing residential installation crews for pre-construction projects and managing regional inside operations and administrative duties. The ideal Ops Assistant has strong communication and customer services skills, is highly organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior project administrative experience looking to gain exposure in the solar industry!

Job Duties:
  • Managing the resolution of failed inspections and workmanship issues, including coordinating with customers, technicians, and subcontractors
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, including managing schedules and ensuring that all work is completed to standards
  • Overseeing the pre-installation process for new construction homes, including coordinating with builders
  • Providing ongoing training and support to the regional team on safety and best practices
  • Monitoring regional production and inspection scheduling to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and on schedule
  • Ensuring that all customer systems are functioning properly by supervising the commissioning and inspections processes.
  • Overseeing site assessments and the inspections process, including coordinating with customers and technicians to ensure that all necessary information is conveyed
  • Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as needed or as directed by management
  • Flexibility to take on new tasks and responsibilities as they arise


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree perferred
  • 1-2 years prior scheduling/project management experience 
  • Prior solar/construction experience strongly preferred Prior experience with scheduling and dispatching resources is preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office or G Suite
  • Familiarity with CRM, EAM, and MRO software tools
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet use.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks with a high level of organization.
  • Ability to meet motor vehicle requirements and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to perform normal office duties.
  • Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine the accuracy of work.
