What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR/School Business Office Administrative Assistant position at Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District?
We are seeking a dedicated professional, who enjoys working within an education centered, working environment. Our staff work to develop a community model of communication and high expectations.
Position Objective:
This position is responsible for providing a variety of administrative support in areas that include but are not limited to benefits onboarding and administration, maintenance of personnel files, processing unemployment claims and administrative support of facilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrates attention to duty, detail, and time management; working reliably without close supervision.
2. Displays problem-solving abilities and distinguishes priorities.
3. Treats staff with respect and displays sensitive and positive communication skills, with tact and discretion.
4. Maintains accurate and up-to-date records.
5. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of office practices, procedures and processes.
6. Displays diligence in safety for all stakeholders.
7. Performs all job-related duties as assigned.
8. Benefits Administration: verify accuracy, employee communication, and management of benefits information.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum High School Diploma
2. Secretarial/Office administration experience

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience as a secretary in a school district setting
2. Knowledge of benefits administration

START DATE:July 1, 2025
Employment is contingent upon job performance, program needs, and funding. This is a full year position.
