Job Summary
Assisting in the development and implementation of visual inspection training including defect recognition and qualification testing. Responsible for gathering and classifying defects across all product families. Assist in establishing defect test sets including creating a system to evaluate and maintain defective units. Provide training to personnel performing visual inspection as qualification programs are implemented.Salary Range: $21.00-24.00 per hour
Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expert of defect types and classification for products with understanding of defect levels obtained in the production areas.
- Provides manual visual inspection and semi-automated visual inspection training for newly hired product inspectors.
- Monitors the training status of all visual inspectors and schedules/performs manual and semi-automated re-qualifications of production inspectors and quality inspectors.
- Assist in establishing defect test sets including creating a system to evaluate and the maintenance of defective units .
- Supports the internal audits of the visual inspection processes ensuring current procedures are followed. Implements and follow ups on corrective actions.
- Monitors the visual in section performance of inspectors through routine trending. Develops and executes a course of action if a negative trend is identified.
- Assists in the development of training material and delivers training on new trends in the visual inspection program.
- Assists in the regulatory inspection readiness program for the visual inspection processes.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree or one (1) to three (3) years equivalent education/professional experience.
- Visual inspection and/or training experience strongly preferred.
- Must be able work independently, anticipates next steps, takes initiative, and work collaboratively as a member of the team.
- Must be able to present training material in an effective manner.
- Requires excellent interpersonal skills for working with trainees and within a team.
- Requires assertive and tactful communication skills.
- Must have visual acuity to detect defective vials during qualification training and the evaluation of defects.
- Computer experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
- Must be able to maintain manual visual inspection qualification status.
