Frette is seeking a Planning & Allocations Assistant, Home to join our team in NYC, on a hybrid work schedule.
The Planning & Allocations Assistant, Home supports the Senior Planner, Home , with day to day administration for the retail stores and wholesale North America business, including the life cycle of purchase orders, maintenance and analysis for business units.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assist in creation of WTD, MTD, YTD and ad hoc analysis for wholesale. Help to present data in weekly selling meetings and assist in developing an action plan to drive sales and limit liabilities.
- Responsible for the life cycle of purchase orders: initial set up, follow up on entry of order, communicating any changes, and receipt of merchandise.
- Communicate with Supply Chain team in the Italy HQ to ensure accuracy of open orders, receipts and delivery dates.
- Assist in updating and distributing wholesale price lists by customers seasonally (2x each year)
- Maintaining wholesale assortment file and refreshing inventory and sales to forecast out monthly forecasts and place rebuys.
- Own wholesale sample sale assortment and order release process, from beginning to end. Work with planners in retail, wholesale and hospitality to identify aged inventory that can be sent to sample sale. Create pricing based on margin targets by season, forecast quantities based on historical sell-thru, partner with warehouse team to release orders in D365, recap and share performance.
- Execute allocation strategies for core and seasonal merchandise, including initial allocation, replenishment, and consolidation of end-of-life products to other stores or channels.
- Partner with warehouse team to ensure store inventory levels are maintained, adjusting to store capacity, and selling trends based on seasonality.
- Partner with stores to understand and execute store-specific allocation needs.
- Participate in store visits, and seasonal presentation to store staff.
- Continually monitor inventory levels, and proactively communicating any issues and needs to management.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 2 years of planning and allocation experience
- Able to analyze sales, inventory, margin, and turn
- Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills
- Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
- Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Knowledge and understanding of retail math
- Team Oriented
- Strong communicator, verbal and written
- Accuracy in data reporting and entry
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
