Responsibilities
- Customer Prospecting and Acquisition: Identify and research potential customers within the Fuel Cell Technology market. Utilize various sources, including industry databases, online platforms, and networking events to generate a list of prospects.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand the competitive landscape, industry trends, and customer needs. Analyze market data to identify potential gaps and opportunities for our products and services.
- Lead Generation and Cold Outreach: Actively engage in cold calling, and other outreach strategies to initiate contact with potential clients. Nurture leads and follow up to schedule meetings and presentations.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers. Understand their needs, address inquiries, and provide appropriate information about our offerings.
- Proposal Preparation: Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to create persuasive proposals and presentations tailored to each customer's specific requirements.
- Attend Industry Events: Represent the company at relevant industry conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions to showcase our products and services. Network with industry professionals to expand our reach and identify potential partnerships.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
- Feedback and Market Insights: Gather feedback from customers and prospects to provide valuable insights to the product development and marketing teams. Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about advancements in Fuel Cell Technology and related industries. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years professional sales / account management/business development
- Knowledge of fuel cell components (i.e. Gas diffusion layers, fuel cells & electrolysis systems) is helpful
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and confidently present ideas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities and overcome challenges.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
- Passionate about renewable energy and the potential of Fuel Cell Technology to drive positive change.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools would be advantageous.
