Job Overview
The Fountain Worker is an essential member of our team, responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of fountain beverages and snacks. The Fountain Worker will ensure that all food safety standards are met and that customers have a positive experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve fountain drinks, snacks, and other food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and supplies.
- Assist with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas to ensure a pleasant environment for customers.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure the quality and safety of all food products served.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order taking and processing transactions efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Manage time effectively to maintain service speed during peak hours while ensuring quality.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
- Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food safety practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Previous experience in grocery stores or food service settings is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
