Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fountain Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of fountain beverages and snacks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve fountain drinks, snacks, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and supplies.
- Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, processing customer transactions efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations when necessary to enhance their experience.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices.
- Basic knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
