Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) assists in the management, coordination and maintenance of an efficient, productive, and organized nursing department. In absence of the Director of Nursing (DON), shall have administrative authority over and responsibility for the functions and activities of the nursing department. Demonstrates knowledge of and delivers care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the State in which employed. The ADON is a member of the Nursing Administrative team.
