Position Summary:
As an Account Executive - New Jersey, your primary focus will be on achieving order distribution, market penetration and driving/managing sell-through with licensed cannabis retailers in the state of NJ.
Successful collaboration with fulfillment team members and tracking systems will be essential, and you will play a key role in making recommendations to optimize inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and forecasting. Acting as a liaison to other departments, you will also provide feedback to the management team to ensure we are striving for constant improvement, as well as smooth and efficient operations.
The Account Executive - New Jerseys responsibilities are pivotal in maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency within the wholesale division. This role isnt just about overseeing logistics; its about ensuring seamless operations to align with Illicit Brands NJ overall goals and objectives.
Essential Functions:
The Account Executive - New Jersey will play a critical role within the wholesale team to ensure the smooth and efficient distribution of our diverse cannabis products.
Account Executive - New Jersey will be directly responsible for driving sales in the traditional sense, via prospecting, business development, and will be responsible for sales/marketing related business outcomes and NJ market sales performance.
The following essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Driving Sales

Assist in creating and executing sales strategies aligned with market trends and company objectives, identifying new opportunities for growth.

Achieve metrics and KPIs to track sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.

Establish strategic partnerships within the industry, fostering collaborations that can lead to increased sales opportunities and market reach.

Remain flexible and adaptable to market changes, adjusting strategies and tactics accordingly to stay competitive.

Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, including product diversification.

Coordinate with the Marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns.

Ensure consistency between sales messaging, and marketing initiatives.
Policies Procedures Wholesale Operations

Execute company policies and procedures pertaining to inventory, distribution, and quality control- and provide feedback to management where improvements could exist.

Collaborate with Illicit wholesale team members to ensure adherence to state, local regulations, and internal policies and procedures relating to inventory, distribution and quality control. Proactively identify and rectify any compliance gaps.

Manage the consistent quality line of supply, product par levels, and minimal out of stocks.

Foster timely communication with operational areas to streamline processes and establish, maintain, and assess inventory turnover goals and objectives.

Awareness of, understanding of, and implementation of all SOPs pertaining to the inventory, distribution, and quality control of cannabis from seed to sale.

Maintain all documentation required by governmental agencies for the specified period of employment

Provide feedback where we can streamline operational workflows and processes to enhance productivity and scalability.

Manage obsolete inventory and make recommendations for disposal or transfer to ensure highest cost recovery or minimum loss.

Operate and manage inventory tracking system/wholesale order management platform to drive sales.

Continued development and implementation of wholesale, inventory, and distribution SOPs and best practices.

Qualifications:

Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older .

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Valid Drivers license

Ability to pass a criminal background check

1 years of OUTSIDE/FIELD sales experience
