Assisted Living Administrator
Purpose: To lead and direct the overall operation of the Community in accordance with resident needs, government regulations, and company Assisted Living policies and procedures. Maintain excellent service quality, high occupancy, and meet corporate financial goals within established budgetary guidelines.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but willing to train the right person.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, Regulatory officials, and the general public.
- Must meet all state health requirements.
- Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be computer literate.
- Subject to a criminal background check.
Essential Functions:
Community Management:
- Work with the Community management staff and corporate staff in planning all aspects of Community operations, including setting priorities and job assignments. Monitor each department, communicate and interpret policies, evaluate performance, provide feedback, and assist, coach and discipline staff as necessary. Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of the Community and grounds. Ensure safety of residents, their visitors and staff regarding Infection Control, Fire and Safety policies and procedures
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct routine inspections of services provided to ensure the highest quality.
Compliance:
- Maintain current knowledge of State Regulations and ensure 100% compliance in all surveys conducted by licensing authority, HIPPA and OSHA
Residents’ Rights:
- Ensure understanding and compliance with all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
Community Staffing and Retention:
- Monitor employee morale, maintaining a high level of team spirit and unit cohesion. Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies. Manage turnover. Maintain a network of recruitment sources. Select appropriate candidates for employment. Ensure training and incentive programs are in place and working properly.
Community Relations:
- Develop positive relationships with State regulators, the community at large, families and residents on behalf of the Community and Management.
- Coordination of all potential residents and the follow up that goes along with that.
Working Conditions:
- Able to work full-time, with some weekend work.
- Availability to take calls as needed.

Salary: $62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
