Key Responsibilities:
- Assess community needs and identify gaps in services related to substance abuse awareness.
- Develop and implement evidence-based prevention programs for adults, children, and families.
- Collaborate with local coalition groups and partner organizations to promote prevention efforts.
- Provide educational sessions and presentations to community groups on substance abuse-related topics.
- Evaluate and monitor program effectiveness, submitting reports to funding sources and stakeholders as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Licensure: Must possess or obtain highest level of licensure appropriate to degree.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience in mental health and substance abuse.
- Knowledge of public relations, mass communications, and marketing techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
