Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Communicate regularly to Director of Sales on projects, issues and planning
- Coach, mentor and supervise territory sales teams
- Oversee and direct performance of the territory sales team
- Drive new Dealer customer sales growth
- Set Territory Sales Quotas and Goals
- Ensure that the company is providing superior customer service
- Work alongside Sales Support Manager for process improvement implementation
- Develop and maintain department policies, procedures and processes as needed
- Measure and review department metrics and focus to improve
- Plan, implement and manage sales strategies with Director of Sales
- Ensure all employee issues and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner
- Encourage teamwork and foster a positive team environment
- Train and develop staff on company process and to ensure superior customer service
- Assist Director of Sales in managing sales goal numbers for each fiscal year and expense budget planning to include travel
- Contact customers in-person and via telephone. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel with in target customer base on a regular and consistent basis
- Follow up with customer and internal sales staff to address any issues or sales opportunities
- Prospect for new business within core markets and new emerging markets
- Handle high level customer issues
- Manage Distributor accounts
- Manage non program partner OE accounts
- Assist accounting with advice or assistance on past due collections
- Attend tradeshows
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Attend leadership meetings
- Attend and conduct departmental meetings
- Communicate with other departments
- Assist with implementation of sales strategy each year
- Assist with trade shows and conventions as needed
- Make high level presentations to customer, staff and related companies
- Travel to prospect and customer locations
- Work independently and with other departments to identify areas of improvement

Knowledge and Skills
- 3 years prior Sales Experience
- Technical background or markets we serve a plus

- Computer skills. Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs
