What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Operations Buyer position at FTS (Fast Tracking Solutions)?
Overview:
Our partner is seeking a Buyer to join their Purchasing Operations Center. In this role, you will deliver exceptional service to internal stakeholders by efficiently managing and completing operational procurement tasks.
Key Accountabilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through responsive and proactive task management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various business areas and regions.
- Prioritize and plan daily workflow, including managing, monitoring, and reporting task progression through to completion.
- Negotiate with suppliers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all Procurement processes and procedures.
- Resolve issues related to blocked or stalled invoices.
- Handle supplier communications and declarations.
- Manage the Global Vendor Master.
- Handle Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Manage Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
- Rework Purchase Orders.
- Manage the task request inbox.
Basic Requirements:
- Associate’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree with 0-1 years of experience, or
- 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Requirements:
- Minimal procurement experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Team-oriented, career-focused, and goal-oriented.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Notes:
- Seeking a Buyer with a focus on the administrative aspects of procurement.
- Some background in purchasing is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $19.33 - $21.33 per hour
