JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for supporting the operations team in accurately tracking production progress according to contracts, billing customers, managing accounts receivable collections, and analyzing weekly profit and loss statements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Verify, review, and reconcile weekly payroll data, making adjustments when necessary.
- Set up and reconcile contracts to ensure alignment between field operations and office records.
- Perform weekly and monthly job reconciliations.
- Prepare, review, adjust, and submit invoices to customers.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure timely collection of past due customer invoices, and provide weekly updates on collection status.
- Reconcile customer payments when necessary.
- Generate, analyze, and distribute reports related to crew productivity, unbilled/unearned revenue, and other responsibilities.
- Reconcile and analyze revenue reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Communicate effectively with field personnel regarding billing and contract details.
- Provide assistance to company staff, customers, and other stakeholders in resolving billing and payment issues.
- Draft correspondence within established guidelines or as directed.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic records and files.
- Stay informed about company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Cross-train in various customer processes and systems to increase versatility.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree or higher in a business-related field preferred.
TECHNOLOGY, EQUIPMENT & TOOLS:
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented attitude.
- Excellent analytical abilities and experience creating efficient Excel reports.
- Knowledge of contract terms and familiarity with requests for proposals.
- Ability to interpret and identify key elements within contracts.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
