What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Representative position at The Outdoor Group?
Essential Functions:
Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions. Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices. Maintains and records invoices, debits, and credits. Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service departments, and from customers; Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department.
Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. Analysis and resolution of variances; Account Reconciliations; Deduction resolutions
The ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with customers, co-workers and managers.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
