Engineering Assembly Technician
We are seeking an Engineering Technician to assist in the manufacture. assembly, and testing of precision metrology systems.
The Engineering Technician will be responsible for the build, test, and debug processes of production systems. The Technician will also perform assembly tasks of electrical, mechanical, and optical components for production systems and calibration test fixtures.
About the candidate
- The primary responsibility for the role is performing daily production build, test, and debug activities
- Work closely with the Engineering Team during development of build and test methods for new products
- Manufacture, test and install custom wire harnesses / cable assemblies according to production specifications
- Interpret electrical schematics and production blueprints
- Maintain tools and test equipment properly and ensure they are calibrated
- Perform critical quality control checks, and work to streamline analysis and reporting in an organized manner
- Interpret electrical schematics and production blueprints
Prior experience in an assembly or testing environment is highly desired.
This is an on-site, full time position.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
