Job Title: Vice President of Sales – Residential Homebuilding
Location: Covering Augusta, Aiken, Columbia, Kershaw, and Sumter (Relocation assistance available for the right candidate)
About the Opportunity
We are partnered with a homebuilder seeking a VP of Sales to lead this growing division for a public builder.
This position is open to a seasoned Director of Sales ready to step up, or a current VP seeking a larger platform and expanded leadership influence.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee a team of regional sales managers, and sales agents.
- Own the sales strategy and performance across a high-volume, multi-market division
- Collaborate with the Division President and work closely with the Corporate VP of Sales to align sales initiatives with broader business goals
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and drive consistent, high-quality performance
- Represent the sales team in senior leadership discussions and contribute to key business decisions
- Analyze performance metrics, market dynamics, and customer trends to drive improvements
- Champion CRM and sales technologies to boost efficiency, accountability, and results
- Partner cross-functionally with other departments such as land, construction, and purchasing to ensure alignment and execution
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of progressive sales leadership experience in residential homebuilding
- Proven success managing large teams and delivering strong sales results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strategic mindset with experience contributing to division-wide or company-level initiatives
- Familiarity with other areas of homebuilding—such as land acquisition, production, or purchasing—is a plus
- Strong leadership presence and confidence in representing the sales function at the executive level
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and performance tracking tools
- Knowledge of the Midlands housing market is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
