Position Summary:
A leading residential homebuilder in the Southeast is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead and scale its sales operations. Based in Chapin, SC, this executive will be responsible for overseeing the regional sales strategy, managing sales leadership, driving revenue growth, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the homebuying process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales organization across multiple regions and markets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with corporate growth goals and market expansion.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on forecasting, pricing strategy, product offerings, and market positioning.
- Monitor regional sales performance and coach sales managers to achieve KPIs, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Implement data-driven systems to track conversion rates, traffic trends, and team productivity.
- Work closely with marketing, construction, and land acquisition teams to ensure alignment on product delivery, inventory, and customer expectations.
- Oversee hiring, training, and development of sales managers and new home consultants.
- Maintain strong knowledge of local and regional housing markets, competition, and buyer trends.
- Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and integrity across the sales organization.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local real estate laws and internal policies.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of progressive experience in residential homebuilding sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or VP-level role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large, geographically dispersed sales teams.
- Deep understanding of the new home sales lifecycle, customer journey, and market dynamics in the Southeast.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, forecasting, and compensation planning.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Hands-on, data-driven approach with a passion for mentoring and team development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field (MBA preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with entry-level and first-time move-up buyer segments.
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM platforms used in the homebuilding industry.
- Local market knowledge of South Carolina and Georgia preferred.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
