Construction Estimator

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and project management, with a proven ability to analyze project specifications, prepare cost estimates, and negotiate contracts. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather information on project requirements and timelines.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data for accurate estimating.
• Develop detailed cost breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Utilize Procore to create precise estimates and reports.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to each project.
• Support project managers and construction teams for active projects from time to time

Experience

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with cost control methods and techniques in a construction environment.
• Proficient in using estimating software, particularly Procore
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate pricing and estimation.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with contractors and suppliers.
• Knowledge of construction site operations and safety regulations is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
