We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at a busy dental clinic. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally as they arrive at the clinic.
- Manage phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments while maintaining an organized calendar.
- Collect patient information and verify insurance details accurately.
- Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records using computerized systems.
- Assist with medical billing processes as needed, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions and concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in medical administrative support or as a dental receptionist is preferred.
- Proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry tasks.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information.
- Familiarity with medical billing processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.
- Ability to work effectively in an office environment and collaborate with team members.
- Proficient in using computers and various software applications related to office management.
