What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Coordinator position at Full House Resorts?
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists daily with the Accounts Payable processes.
- Receives invoices from vendors and suppliers, ensures they are accurate, and settles payments.
- Scan and send all daily cash transactions to the corporate office. These include, but are not limited to, jackpot checks, currency orders, backup-withholding, and child intercept payments.
- Maintain all vendor packet paperwork including the upkeep of vendor insurance certificates. Work with the compliance officer to ensure proper vendor insurance requirements are met.
- Perform daily scanning, filing, and organizing of all paperwork.
- Weekly preparation of A/P checks to be mailed. This includes verifying the amounts and invoices, collating and scanning documents, and filing. .
- Create and upload any miscellaneous journal entries as needed.
- Prepare Mastercard documents to be submitted monthly to corporate Accounts Payable.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
- Performs all responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations, and various federal and state regulations including any changes in regulations.
- Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities, and a general awareness of casino operations at all times. Keeps their supervisor informed of any concerns.
- Reports to Accounting Manager for instruction of any other general office duties, including special projects as needed and directed. Assist in other Finance related tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated knowledge of and experience using Excel and various accounting software. Has the ability to learn other software programs as necessary. Demonstrated experience meeting strict deadlines and working under pressure. Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Graduation from High School or equivalent amount of experience and education. One (1) to three (3) or more years of recent and related office experience. Gaming experience is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
REASONING ABILITY: Position often performs beyond the scope of essential duties.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION: Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License. Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License with a good driving record. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Possess the ability to perform basic mathematical computations, work a 10-key calculator by touch, demonstrates basic computer skills, data entry, and filing.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve sitting while completing paperwork or using a computer, kneeling, and squatting. Essential duties require lifting up to 30 pounds to stack, store or move general office supplies, equipment, and storage boxes. Essential duties involve a standard workweek with additional hours as needed.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$18.00 an hour based on experience
