Accounts Payable Clerk (Entry Level)

Summary of Job Purpose: The Accounts Payable Clerk for Fun Town RV is an entry level position at the heart of our accounting department. This position is fast-paced and requires organizational and communication skills. The ability to work as a team and have great time management skills is strongly recommended. The primary duties and responsibilities for this position include the following but others can be assigned:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving and recording the receipt of invoices
• Processing receiving tickets for accuracy and on time
• Reconciling supplier accounts to make sure amounts invoiced reflect goods received
• Matching and filing invoices and receipts
• Requesting receipt of statements from invoicing suppliers when they are not provided
• Reconciling and scanning supplier statements for past due invoices
• Answering queries from suppliers about unpaid invoices
• Scanning payment documentation and attaching it to the associated journal entries

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Intermediate Computer Skills (Google docs and Microsoft Office-Excel)
• Attention to detail with strong organization skills
• General math skills experience, adequate typing skills, proven ability to pay attention to details
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
