Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Conduct detailed analyses of revenue, costs, and operational and clinical performance metrics.
- Assist in monitoring payer mix trends, reimbursement rates, and other healthcare-specific financial indicators.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for stakeholders.
- Support revenue cycle analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data inputs for financial models.
- Perform variance analysis to explain deviations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices impacting the therapy healthcare sector.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, financial modeling, data analysis).
- Familiarity with BI tools like DOMO, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
- Basic understanding of SQL or data querying is a plus.
- Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with revenue cycle management and healthcare-specific financial metrics is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, variances, and performance metrics.
- Visualization: Skills to present complex data clearly and concisely for stakeholders.
