Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of financial models and analytics to support therapy service lines and operational goals.
• Oversee revenue cycle analysis, focusing on payer mix, reimbursement trends, and compliance requirements.
• Manage forecasting, budgeting, and sensitivity analysis processes to drive informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with operational, business development, and clinical teams to gather and validate data inputs for financial models.
• Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for therapy services.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and cost management strategies within the therapy healthcare sector.
• Mentor and guide team members in financial analytics best practices.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
• Experience: 5 years in financial analytics, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in the healthcare or therapy industry.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, financial modeling, data analysis).
  • Familiarity with BI tools like DOMO, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
• Healthcare Knowledge: In-depth understanding of revenue cycle management, payer mix, and therapy-specific operational metrics.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, manage projects, and drive initiatives.
• Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking Skills:  Strong critical thinking to challenge assumptions and validate input data.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and experience translating complex data into actionable insights.
• Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of data to identify trends, variances, and performance metrics.
• Sensitivity Analysis: Proficiency in testing assumptions and modeling various scenarios.
• Profitability Analysis: Understanding healthcare cost structures, margins, and break-even analysis.
• Financial Modeling: Ability to build detailed financial models, including revenue, cost projections, and cash flow statements.
• Forecasting: Skilled in creating accurate financial forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and operational assumptions.
• Budgeting: Expertise in preparing budgets and aligning them with organizational goals.
• Visualization: Skills to present complex data clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
• Strategic Planning: Align financial models with organizational strategy and goals, such as new service line launches or expansions.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences.
• Team Collaboration: Experience working in a team environment and supporting cross-departmental projects.
