Functional Pathways, a therapist-owned organization with over 30 years of experience, is looking for a Vice President of Human Resources to join our team in Knoxville, TN. This on-site leadership role is an opportunity to make a significant impact by driving organizational culture, employee engagement, and HR strategy for a dynamic and growing company in the senior living and healthcare space.

What You’ll Do:

1. Lead with Vision: Oversee all aspects of our HR function, aligning it with our mission to serve patients, clients, and team members.
2. Elevate Culture: Integrate our Functional Fundamentals into policies and practices to ensure a values-driven environment.
3. Strategic Planning: Conduct best practice evaluations of policies and workforce planning to ensure competitive, state-of-the-art strategies.
4. Coach and Support: Provide hands-on coaching and advisory support to management and team members, reinforcing compliance, performance, and leadership development.
5. Build Relationships: Be a trusted point of contact for employees, resolving concerns with empathy and diplomacy.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

1. Education and Experience:
   1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.
   2. HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
   3. Minimum of 10 years in HR leadership roles, with proven success supervising remote teams.
2. Skills and Traits:
   1. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
   2. Excellent written, oral, and public speaking communication.
   3. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
   4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to develop and implement policies and processes.
