Summary
Oversee the development, implementation, and compliance of the Health Delivery System in accordance with ACF, state, and federal regulations. Ensure the delivery of health education and medical services to children, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor health services for compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Develop and maintain health education referral services and annual content plans.
- Coordinate medical, dental, and immunization services for children with Family Advocates.
- Provide training and technical assistance to staff, parents, and Center Directors.
- Stay informed on community health issues and provide guidance as needed.
- Participate in the Head Start Support Service Team for program integration.
- LPN or BA in Nursing/related field (3 years in public/family service); RN/Pediatric Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- Experience in health service delivery and working with health professionals.
- Strong human relations and management skills.
- Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License, liability insurance, and transportation.
- Meet all state and funding source requirements (e.g., fingerprinting).
