Corporate Controller

Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000/year (based on experience)
We’re seeking a Corporate Controller to lead financial operations for a global innovator in advanced manufacturing technologies. This role offers the chance to work at the cutting edge of engineering and innovation, supporting complex projects that shape the future of industry.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee financial control operations, including budgeting, performance analysis, and cost reporting.
- Analyze financial performance, identify key insights, and recommend solutions to optimize business outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations and compliance with US GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Support corporate leadership with actionable financial data to drive strategic decision-making.
- Manages control operations to provide economic-management information for Corporate to achieve objectives, detects deviations through indicators, informs relevant corporate bodies, and supports corrective actions.
- Manages human, technical, and economic resources, focusing on continuous improvement and knowledge transfer.
- Conducts all phases of management control: antecedent control (budget), concomitant control (performance check), and subsequent control (result analysis).
- Supports Corporate Management in setting up analytical-managerial accounting for cost and profit centers.
- Assists in preparing various budgets (corporate, by cost center, by job order, by project), defining objectives and correlating resources.
- Communicates final indicators at the end of periods to support the next budget setting cycle.
- Collaborates with HR on employee management in responsibility centers.
- Works with Administration to prepare the monthly accrual and annual budgets.
- Collaborates with Information Systems to verify business flows and data accuracy in management systems.
- Works with Production Manager to verify variances in production orders and rejects.
- Calculates product costs (material, direct, indirect, overhead, fixed, and variable costs).
- Calculates profitability by line/product, area, customer, and job order.
- Manages resource load/capacity for proper execution of activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree - Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
- 3-4 years of experience in accounting, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and a willingness to learn IFRS to bridge US and European operations.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
- A proven ability to lead and grow within a dynamic business environment.
- Maintains motivation and professionalism of team, assigning tasks, supporting difficulties, and promoting professional growth through training.
