Accounting Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and be proficient in various accounting software, including QuickBooks. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Duties

• Manage company's entire accounting process, including tax preparation, payroll, and financial statements, requiring experience and knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct financial auditing to identify discrepancies and ensure adherence to regulations.
• Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for employees.
• Perform general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
• Utilize financial software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of governmental accounting standards and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong Skill sets in QuickBooks and other financial software applications.
• Experience with financial statement preparation and general ledger reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
