About us:
fyb, which stands for “follow your bliss” is a demi-fine jewelry brand based in Brooklyn, NY. Founded in 2011 by Chinese-American designer Alyssa Kuchta, our collection is sold through hundreds of nationwide retail partners, includes a custom bridal collection, and has a flagship space in Greenpoint. The brand has been featured in Vogue, ELLE, Glamour, and CBS New York.
We are looking for a Wholesale Account Manager to join our close-knit team and help expand our presence with retail partners.
Ideal Candidate:
A self-motivated, outgoing, driven individual who is excited and passionate about playing an instrumental role in growing our retail partnerships. You love meeting new people and are excited about pitching the fyb brand to new audiences. You have a stylish and creative sensibility and are eager to bring new ideas to the table. You’re also interested in learning how to run a business from the inside out and are looking for a flexible, hands-on environment.
- Serve as the primary contact for fyb jewelry’s wholesale stockists in your assigned territory (mid-west and west coast), providing exceptional support and service, and growing our brand presence in this area.
- Strengthen relationships with existing accounts to maximize sales potential and maintain brand loyalty.
- Identify and secure new wholesale opportunities with boutiques, retailers, and online platforms that align with the fyb brand.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet/exceed monthly sales goals.
- Attend in-market trade shows (including booth set up and break down) as well as monthly travel for store appointments and prospecting.
- Oversee the end-to-end wholesale order process working closely with internal teams (production, logistics, and finance), to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
- 2 years of related sales experience, preferably in the fashion industry (previous wholesale experience in jewelry or accessories is a major plus)
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Team player with an optimistic and positive attitude.
- Passion for the jewelry industry and a strong understanding of market trends.
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a fast-growing brand.
- Ability to work in office from our Brooklyn, NY office 5 days per week, and willingness to travel as needed for trade shows, in-store appointments and store prospecting.
