Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
A cts as an external representative of Fyda Freightliner Barkeyville through the parts department with customers. This includes but not limited to:
- Solicit sales and maintain relationship of assigned customers through:
- Physical visits
- Phone calls
- Email/text
- Maintain positive customer experience by:
- Handling warranty, return or core parts
- Sharing truck sales opportunity with sales department and by coordinate service issues with service department.
- Prospect new parts sales opportunities and grow customer base.
- Record detailed and descriptive daily notes for each customer interaction, ensuring notes are specific and accurately reflect the conversation and next steps.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Monitor competitor activities and market conditions.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and advancements.
- Ability to effectively recognize and identify customer pain points and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain current knowledge by completing all required training and professional development.
- Stay up to date on all dealer electronic systems.
- Attend training seminars
- Perform customer sales calls with vendors
- Support inside sales by:
- Sharing customer information
- Work closely with Parts Sales Manager as well as Delivery Drivers.
Qualifications
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of parts sales experience.
A high school diploma or equivalent required with knowledge of truck/auto components.
- Excellent communication skills and must speak English.
- High school business math.
- Knowledge of and ability to work on a computer.
- General mechanical aptitude.

- Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, crouch, reach and lift.
- Operate a Fyda vehicle in safe and responsible manner and in compliance with Fyda policies.
