Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, including metal framing and drywall.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and strategically controlling activities of each project to ensure the company’s marketing position, financial goals, and mission are served.
- Ensure contractual terms and obligations reflect in the company’s best quality work and further ensure contractual terms and obligations are maintained throughout the course of a project.
- Continuously identify and coordinate implementation of valuable cost-saving and/or quality-enhancement measures to meet profit objectives while maintaining company’s competitive market share and enhancing customer relationships.
- Analyze plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare timely cost and labor estimates for job budgets.
- Review contracts and bid packages to determine and produce requested product and other technical documentation.
- Responsible for fostering and growing relationships with general contractors and on-site personnel.
- Engage in problem solving for ongoing projects to maintain efficient and profitable workflow on the job site.
- Supervise collection of and analyze daily production data from job sites to measure project progress.
- Conduct pre-construction and post-construction meeting with the Foremen.
- Manage, direct and mentor on-site personnel and resources.
- Visit jobsites regularly and walk with the Foremen for the purpose of identifying project progress, quality controls, and labor-saving options.
- Participate in review of monthly status reports, including cost-to-complete, progress billings and work-in-progress.
Qualifications
- 5 years of Project Management experience in the construction industry required, metal framing and drywall scope preferred
- Degree in Construction Management or similar coursework and training preferred
- Strong computer skills; including Windows, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
- On-Center On-Screen Takeoff™ and Quick Bid™ experience is a plus
- Ability to pass a drug screen, including marijuana, in accordance with Federal contracting laws
We have projects from Olympia to Blaine. This is a hybrid position, with the ability to work from home, with frequent job site visits and occasional visits to our office in Ferndale.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
