The Assembly Technician plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes. This role will be responsible for maintaining and repairing airframes and related components, including flight controls, hydraulics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
Responsibilities:
- Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repair in accordance with regulations, manufacturer instructions, and company policies.
- Applies technical knowledge of aircraft systems to effectively troubleshoot and determine system and equipment malfunctions.
- Maintains records in compliance with FAA and Company standards.
- Maintains the premises of the shop facility in a clean and organized manner.
- Maintains equipment and tools in serviceable and working condition.
- Performs any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Excellent mechanical skills
- Ability to read/interpret technical orders and component maintenance manuals
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with small components
- Full knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Office suite
- A&P Certification
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
