We are seeking an experienced QA Test Engineer with a strong background in Field Testing, WiFi Systems Integration, and 5G technologies to join our team in Lewisville, TX. This hybrid role involves conducting field tests, ensuring quality standards in WiFi and 5G systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve seamless integration and high performance. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of wireless networking, possess hands-on testing skills, and demonstrate expertise in quality assurance methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform field testing of WiFi and 5G systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Develop, execute, and manage test plans, test cases, and test scripts for WiFi and 5G systems, based on functional specifications and project requirements.
• Conduct network performance testing and troubleshooting for WiFi and 5G integrations, analyzing system behavior under various scenarios.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues, document defects, and work with engineering teams to resolve them.
• Validate the integration of WiFi and 5G systems within different environments, devices, and network architectures.
• Collect, analyze, and report test data to stakeholders, identifying key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure that test environments are set up properly, maintained, and updated for accurate testing conditions.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to review system requirements and refine testing approaches.
• Provide support for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure deliverables meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Stay current with 5G and WiFi technologies, standards, and best practices to continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6 years of experience as a QA Test Engineer with expertise in Field Testing, WiFi systems, and 5G technologies.
• Strong understanding of wireless communication protocols including WiFi (802.11 standards), LTE, and 5G.
• Experience with network performance testing tools such as iPerf, Wireshark, or other relevant testing software.
• Proven ability to create, execute, and manage manual test cases and analyze results for complex wireless and networked systems.
• Familiarity with RF (Radio Frequency) testing, signal analysis, and network troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret test data and create comprehensive reports.
• Excellent communication skills for documentation and collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with 5G NR (New Radio) testing, including SA (Standalone) and NSA (Non-Standalone) configurations.
• Familiarity with WiFi 6/6E standards and testing for next-generation wireless technology.
• Knowledge of automation testing for WiFi and 5G systems, as well as scripting in Python or other relevant languages.
• Experience with mobile network operators or telecom providers in field testing or quality assurance roles.
• Certifications in networking, wireless, or 5G technologies (e.g., CCNA, CWNP, 5G certifications).

• Position is hybrid, with some in-office presence required in Lewisville, TX.
