Position Overview
This role is responsible for reviewing and maintaining regulatory licensing requirements and coordinating initial and renewal licensing package submissions to gaming and business regulatory authorities to meet all regulatory requirements and standards. The position is based in the Las Vegas office.
Essential Job Functions
- Monitor the status of entity, key, and occupational gaming licenses, ensuring the Company's good standing in relevant jurisdictions
- Schedule, prepare, and coordinate timely gaming license applications and renewals including, but not limited to, completing detailed forms, writing letters, communicating with governmental authorities, and obtain required approval documentation
- Stay current on rules, regulations, and legislative requirements of the various gaming jurisdictions
- Adhere to documentation procedures and maintain accurate licensing information for the company and licensed individuals, including expiration dates and renewal timelines, via Company's internal licensing database, ArdentSky
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of corporate and personnel information
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge/Job Qualifications
- Position requires registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (“NGCB”) and potentially other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate
- Ability to research, analyze, and understand regulatory requirements in various jurisdictions
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and possess integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including telephone, email, and video conferencing
- Strong organizational skills with sharp attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and always exercise good judgment
- Plan and execute projects, establish priorities, and meet deadlines
Education/Skills
- Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in a related field and/or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
- A minimum of one (1) year of work experience in regulatory compliance with a gaming operator/supplier, law firm, or equivalent experience/background with a regulatory authority
- Professional Legal/Compliance Certifications are a plus
- Active Notary Public certification preferred
- Familiarity with LexisNexis and internet searches and knowledge of Database Systems such as NetSuite and ArdentSky a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
- General knowledge of casino table games and gaming manufacturing preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
- Must occasionally move about inside the office to access office equipment, etc.
