Overview
This position requires a professional with strong communication skills who has experience in EDI file configuration, implementations, testing, and maintenance. This position is responsible for the development and execution of the EDI files for Benefit Administration Division clients. EDI configuration level experience is required and ability to effectively communicate to carriers, clients, and internally is a must. In depth knowledge of benefits administration and EDI technology is required.
How you'll make an impact
- Communicate timelines and status with teammates, carriers, and clients
- Effectively organize and manage EDI projects and tasks
- Read and understand carrier companion documentation, and structures
- Configure files on EDI platform based on client and carrier requirements
- Test new and existing file transmissions to ensure accuracy of client and carrierrequirements
- Debug and resolve file errors and coding discrepancies
- Test and update SFTP/FTP connections
- Track and Manage existing EDI files
- Manage carrier relationships for EDI
- Facilitate the client and BTR EDI weekly call
- Attend All Team Calls
- Contribute to strategic processes and procedures of the team
- Address all issues quickly and professionally
- Report all escalated issues to the Division Manager and/or upper management
- Complete job-related training courses/seminars as needed
About You
Expertise in EDI and Benefit Administration technology including extensive knowledge of configuration and testing- Build and foster relationships with Provider Partners (vendors/carriers)
- Comfortable communicating and presenting in depth knowledge of the EDI processes
- Strong analytical skills in order to assess training program, methods, and materials
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with project managers, subject-matter experts and trainees in order to effectively deliver the required information
- Ability to understand and create EDI files from specifications or verbal communications
- Prepared to provide training to other team members as needed in the field of EDI
- Calm and assured manner with the ability to work well under pressure either as an individual or as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- 1 years’ experience with HR Technology solutions preferred
