Job Overview : The Supervisor, HR Operations is responsible for leading payroll and HR service center functions and team who support team members and employees as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, operational processes, and payroll operations. Ensure accurate, timely and compliant processing of payroll, bonuses, and other compensation related matters. Develop and oversee daily workflow, prioritization of work and management of team resources working collaboratively with HR functional leaders. Ensures team executes HR programs, policies and systems and delivers service that ensures an exceptional TM / Employee experience. Leads process improvement initiatives to optimize HR operational processes and payroll and ensures documentation and compliance standards are met.

- Plans, organizes, supervises, and monitors the HR Operations team who serves as first HR point of contact to resolve or escalate inquiries and issues related to payroll, benefits and organization procedures and policies, and execute key HR processes throughout the employee life cycle, including onboarding, off-boarding, position management, benefits administration, and payroll.
- Oversees and audits payroll calculations, deductions, insurance coverage, wage garnishments, tax filings, and child support. Oversees and audits payroll calculations, deductions, insurance coverage, wage garnishments, tax filings, and child support.
- Defines expectations and sets team goals that align with broader HR and Enterprise initiatives.
- Provides day to day direction to team members, measures performance and completes regular performance reviews. Develops and implements action plans to improve performance as necessary.
- Maintains a positive work environment that promotes service excellence, creativity, quality results, teamwork, and mutual respect.
- Ensures that weekly payroll is processed timely and accurately and optimize payroll system to meet organization needs. Serve as an escalation point to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Oversees and audits payroll calculations, deductions, insurance coverage, wage garnishments, tax filings, and child support.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Leads audits of State and federal quarterly and annual reports (e.g. IRS Form 941, W2's, MN UI).
- Facilitates internal and external audits by providing records and documentation to auditors as requested.
- Develops practices and procedures within HR services and payroll to support regulatory and compliance directives as required. Creates internal HR Services
knowledge center for internal HR Services.
