Garner & Associates, Roofing and Facility Services, LLC is seeking a motivated Commercial Roofing Service and Repair Technician Assistant to join our team in Rainbow City, AL. This position offers hands-on experience in the commercial roofing industry, working alongside skilled professionals to perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on a variety of commercial roofing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist service technicians in diagnosing and repairing commercial roofing systems
Perform minor repairs, caulking, sealing, and general maintenance tasks
Transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites
Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe
Follow company safety protocols and industry best practices
Learn and develop technical roofing skills through on-the-job training
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications:
Previous roofing or construction experience is a plus but not required
Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Willingness to learn and grow in the commercial roofing trade
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
