Full Time RDA in Pediatric Dental Office
If you are a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or a Dental Assistant (DA) who has completed a board approved coronal polishing license and 8 hour infection control course and love working with children, then we are looking for you! Our fun pediatric dental practice has been in Pinole since 1999 and we are looking for a new dynamic team member to join us! (Spanish speaking is a bonus). Experience in a pediatric office is preferred but we will train the right person who is positive and has good energy. The position is full time (Monday - Thursday) and the occasional Friday.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Chair side assisting
• Digital x-ray (hard sensors, phosphor plates, panorex)
• Hygiene instruction
• Coronal polishing/prophylaxis
• Setting up/breaking down treatment rooms
• Help chart and plan treatment for patients
• Sterilization
• Ordering supplies
• Alginate impressions
• Pouring up models
• Orthodontic assisting
• Computer use (Open Dental)
• Occasionally work in the front office

Qualifications and Skills

• Current California Registered Dental Assisting License
• Current California Dental Assisting License
• Coronal Polishing Certificate
• Completion of a CA dental board approved 8 hour infection control course
• X-Ray License
• Current BLS Certification
