HR Generalist

Gastro Health is seeking a Full-Time HR Generalist to join our team!

Duties you will be responsible for:

• Implement and administer HR programs and policies, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding,
  performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
• Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews,
  and facilitating the hiring decision.
• Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, paperwork completion, and introduction to
  company policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related issues, including but not limited to
  employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data, and timekeeping
  records.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, including EEO, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA.
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns, and recommend appropriate actions to resolve
  issues.
• Assist with the development and implementation of employee training and development programs.
• Coordinate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proficiency in MS systems and PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat
• Time management and organizational skills
• Proficient in Smartsheet's
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the
  organization.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS software.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
