Duties you will be responsible for:
- This position will support our Referral Department .
- processing incoming patient referrals on a daily basis from multiple sources.
- This job requires someone who can prioritize, multitask, and who pays great attention to detail.
- Also, the candidate will enter demographic and insurance information as they reach out to patients to schedule them for appointments.
- The Referral Coordinator is also responsible for knowledge of insurance coverages, documentation of authorizations.
- This position also requires the knowledge of scheduling procedures, ancillary testing, and office appointments.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 years experience in a Medical Office preferred
- Medical terminology knowledge required
